Help us keep LitFest going. LitFest provides a platform for conversations that challenge, intrigue, and inspire. From economy and ecology to personal stories and cultural commentary, we strive to present important and diverse topics to our audiences.
It will feature keynote authors Andre Dubus III and Tracy K. Smith, as well as writers Shanan Ballam, Georgann Eubanks, Jeremy Jones, David Joy, Rebecca McClanahan, Tiya Miles, Tim Peeler, Carter Sickels, Aaron Smith, Belinda Smith, and Gilbert-Chappel Distinguished Poet Brent Martin with student poets .
This blog outlines the process of creating the Edmonton International Literary Festival. Producer David Cheoros is a relative neophyte in the literary world, and as he flails about, learning things by tripping over them, he occasionally tosses these out there.
